Joanna

I am from Gran Canaria in Canary Islands and grew up in the south of England.

I am currently based in Hertfordshire.

I like to say I have been moving and grooving since I can remember. I grew up with a lot of social dancing. At the age of 6 I knew I wanted to train in dance and work in the Arts.
I started my official training at the age of 14 with lnpulse, Hertsforshire Contemporary Youth Dance Company. Then moved on to training in dance and theatre at college through to university. Graduating at the Institute of the Arts in Barcelona with a BA Hons in Commercial Dance.

I think this is the most difficult question to answer. I love mixing and collaborating different styles together. Including music genres, visual effects and movement styles.
I would have to say my go to styles are Contemporary, Urban, Tap and Latin styles.

Dream gig would be to dance for Shakira, Jennifer Lopez or Missy Elliott. That would be epic to tour with them.
There are to many artist I’d love to collaborate with. At the moment I would love to combine my work in the film industry and dance together. I have worked on a few jobs were there is this unity and it was the best experience. I would love to do more of it.

Definitely the creative collaboration and the opportunity to learn for every member of the PPP Team. I love working as a performer and as crew so this project feels like it was made for me. I have experience working as a music creator, lighting designer, make up artist and other behind the scenes work. To be able to use all my skills in one place excites tremendously.
