Important Auditions Update

A large, and exciting, part of the People Power Partnership project includes travelling overseas to perform alongside the project’s other 13 dance group partners from all over Europe. With the uncertainty of the new Covid variant, and the traffic light system currently in place for overseas travel, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone auditions to a later date as wellbeing and safety is our number one priority.

People Power Partnership is such an exciting project and huge opportunity to kick-off a dance career in style and establish an international reputation, so we want to make sure we give our dancers the best possible start. Dancing with some of the best local and international up and coming talent and being able to freely express themselves and gain invaluable face to face coaching with our creative dance team.

To receive the best opportunity possible to show off their dancing skills, applicants will be auditioning in front of our panel of judges who are part of the super talented and experienced Pan.Optikum theatre company based in Germany. They will fly over from Germany to run the workshops and help us select our chosen candidates.

As we’ve had to postpone auditions this weekend, we will, instead, be holding two project update sessions via Zoom with the creative team, Pan.Optikum. These info sessions will provide insight and updates about the project as a whole and will give applicants a chance to ask any questions they may have.

If you are thinking about applying and would like to attend one of these info sessions, please get in contact via email or social media and we’ll send you the Zoom link.

Sessions will be help on:

  • Friday 28 May @ 11am
  • Saturday 29 May @ 11am

We will be releasing more information about new audition date, along with an updated project timeline, in the coming weeks. Please follow us on social media for regular updates: @pppgrimsby on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. You can email us at: ppp@mvtlc.org

Thank you for your patience.
